Ambers Warding

Amber’s Warding (Reversion - 1)
Ranged, Temporal, Passive
This spell works in a similar fashion to the Divine spell Warding, it creates a magical sphere which gives of an audible alarm if a living creature larger than a mice enters the sphere. The sphere is not mobile and is cast at touch range. The area covered by the spell is manipulated using amplify. The spell will cover an area equal to square of the number of points of amplify, in cubic meters, used for that purpose.

The range of the sound of the alarm is manipulated using the distance skill. The sound level is not increased by the spell only the distance it can travel. At all ranges the sound is similar to a hand bell, such as the one a cow carries. The sound acts in all other ways as mundane sound, being blocked by thick walls and being distorted by other loud sounds. In circumstances where it’s doubtful whether the alarm is heard, test the characters listen skill.

Spell Focus: A bell and a string or a wire. A stick stuck in the ground in the middle of the circle adds +5 to the chance of casting the spell.
